Want to know which company you can trust with your education? These are the best learning platforms to help you get on the right path.

Taking on a new learning journey is extremely exciting and if you’re anything like me, you may be pretty overwhelmed with all the options that are available. As a student of life and someone that has tried a ton of different things, I’m going to share with you the companies that I swear by.

These companies will soon become your go-to favorites. After you read why they can be trusted with your education, you’ll sign up for a new app or class that is perfect for you.

This post is all about my favorite learning platforms.

Learning Platforms

Best Learning Platforms Ever

1) Community College

First and foremost, let’s get back to the basics. If you’re going to take on learning something new, what’s the harm in getting credits for it?

Community College is America’s best-kept secret. It’s incredibly affordable. Usually very flexible; especially after covid, there are a ton of online classes available. And the person you’re learning from has proven that they’re capable of instructing you.

We’re all very eager to give our money to online personalities and I’m sure the majority mean well, but there are also a lot of people who are teaching based solely on what worked for them.

College professors have a ton of experience with different students and they have the resources to assist you with something they may not know of firsthand.

Please take advantage of something that is so incredibly accessible and affordable before you take on some debt.

2) Duolingo

One thing I love about the internet and the digital age is how much more connected our world is. Isn’t crazy that we know of so many different people who do not reside in our same country? It’s absolutely beautiful.

One thing you quickly discover as you learn about people in other areas of the world is how the majority of them are well versed in many different languages.

There are a ton of different school systems that require students to learn a second or third language while they’re in primary school. And one of the biggest regrets in life, for most people, is not learning a second language.

Learning a language doesn’t have to be this sterile militant hobby where no joy or fun is allowed to exist. If anything, once you learn a new language you’re able to enjoy more cinema and books.

The easiest way to start learning a language now is with Duolingo. And unlike other learning platforms, this one is free. You do not need to sign up for the premium version. The free one is just as educational and fun.

3) Lynda.com/ Linkedin Learning

When the pandemic first hit, I became very focused on my day job and I wanted to better my computer skills and learn about a program that would allow me to organize data more effectively.

After some research I discovered Infopath. This program allows you to build forms and export data. It also allows you to have some creative freedom as you design what your form looks like.

So I got to researching and YouTube did not have what I was looking for. YouTube has a lot of great people teaching or speaking about different products but it is not formatted as a class. I found a lot of videos with different pieces of what I was looking for and it was frustrating.

After remembering that my library card had a few partnerships with different platforms I saw Lynda.com. This site gave me exactly what I was looking for.

With Lynda.com, courses are divided based on what level you consider yourself, the time commitment it would take and it was just so incredibly organized. Needless to say, I have become an Infopath wizard after taking those courses.

Please note after I started writing this post, I came to learn that Lynda.com is now owned by LinkedIn Learning. I’m sure the content is just as amazing as it once was. Again this platform is perfect for those who want a structured learning format for an online tool.

This post was all about the best learning platforms and why they’re the best!
